An appointment is necessary

•        Examinations take place on board a 34 foot mobile van.  The WON program is accredited by the American College of Radiology, and certified by         the  FDA MQSA.   

•        All patients are provided with a mammogram, clinical breast exam and breast self-examination instruction.

•        An experienced board- certified radiologist interprets the film.

•        Reports are sent to the patient and her doctor within 10 business days.

•        The WON navigation staff will phone all patients with abnormal findings. The results will be explained.  Follow-up appointments will be arranged with an  appropriate medical provider.

•        Uninsured patients will be followed-up at a Partner Hospital which will provide free diagnostic examinations.

•        Women 40 and older who have not had a mammogram in 1 year are urged to make an appointment.

•        Patients at any age with a strong family history or with a symptom should call us for information on how to obtain care.
